I passed both my driving tests on the first try! Overall, I'm very happy with how everything went. I signed up for automatic and manual (B97). Here is the summary of my experience: Cost summary: The total cost for me was around €3,900 for both automatic and manual, but this may vary depending on personal circumstances. For example, I needed two extra sessions to learn the basics and another two before the final exam. Please ask the driving school for the breakdown of all the cost as it most likely varies for each person. Theory Classes: Theory Classes: I really appreciated that StuttgartExpats offered English classes, as it was difficult to find other driving schools in the area that did. While I was grateful for this option, I personally found the classes a bit disorganized, and the English instruction wasn't as clear as I'd hoped. I ended up needing to supplement the classes with quite a bit of independent study to prepare for the theory test. However, having the classes available in English was a huge help, and I'm sure with some improvements, they could be even more beneficial for other English-speaking learners. Learning Experience: My driving instructors were great at identifying areas where I could improve, and I really appreciated their feedback. Sometimes, though, I found myself having to ask specifically for guidance on how to correct certain things, like relying less on the parking camera, perfecting lane centering, or getting a smooth start on a hill with a manual transmission. They were always happy to help when I asked, but I think it would have been beneficial to cover these points proactively. Also, while I understand that instructors need to communicate, sometimes the conversation during lessons could be a little distracting when I was first starting out. Overall, I learned a lot and am grateful for their help in getting me through my tests, but I think the learning experience could be even more effective with a few tweaks.

Eu fiz o curso de primeiros socorros em inglês através do “Stuttgart Expats”. Escolhi eles por me oferecerem além do curso um livro teórico em PDF que me ajudaria a estudar para a prova teórica. Terminei o curso e solicitei o livro ao Barry. Ele evitou entregar o livro e insistiu que só me daria se eu entrasse na auto escola que eles indicam. Até agora nunca me entregaram o livro e nem um reembolso. Barry parou de me responder e evitou minhas ligações. Foi bem desagradável! Na semanas seguintes ainda modificaram a oferta do site e removeram esse item do livro em PDF. Eles não cumprem com o prometido!

Thanks to Stuttgart Expats Community and their Driving School Program, I passed my driving license practical exam today with zero errors! The theory app provided was incredibly helpful, enabling me to ace the theory exam on my first attempt with zero errors. Despite initial struggles and failures, the driving school Owner himself volunteered to teach and guide me, making me stronger and more proficient in German road traffic rules to face the practical exam more confidently. Grateful for the support and guidance from this fantastic community and Barry's excellent recommendations!
